Abstract

Window holders for sliding sashes. - Spring catches 6 are connected by a chain 12, which passes between rollers 16 mounted in the casing 14 and rollers 19 on a movable plate 18 operated by a push 20. When the plate 18 is depressed, the chain is bent into sinuous form, and the spring catches are withdrawn. The racks 4 are formed by punching-out tongues 8 from a strip of metal.
