Abstract
14,890. Atkinson, H. G., and Smith, H. J. June 21. Oil-hole lids and covers.--A lubricator of the kind in which a filling-opening is formed on an inner cylinder is provided with means for holding the inner cylinder in the extended position. The filling-opening 23, Fig. 2, is formed in an inner cylinder 14, and is exposed by pulling the cylinder outwards against a spring 19. A fixed pin 26 normally lies in one of a series of notches 25 in a flange 15, but, by rotating the cylinder 14 slightly, the pin is made to bear against the flange 15, holding the cylinder in the extended position.
