Air-current indicators. - In gas-meters of the type described in Specification 19,767/09, in which a rotary float in a transparent graduated vertical tapering tube takes up a position determined by the rate of flow, the float is constructed so as to ensure an equal distribution of gas at its lower end. The float a may be formed as a simple cone, the point of which may terminate in a ball; or as a cone with a cylinder attached; or a body of ball or oval form may be used as the float.
