Abstract

10,236. Johnson, D. Oct. 8, 1909, [Convention date]. Spark-arresters.-Two dome-like screens 16, 17 are stretched over two pairs of crossed semicircular bars 5, 6 and 7, 8 and are secured to the edge of a thimble 2 on the top of a chimney 1. The thimble is braced by four stays 9, the upper ends of which are secured by the bolts 11, 13 for attaching the bars 7, 5, &c. as shown.
