9843. Currin, S. A., and " Captain " Motor Wheel Co. April 22. Hubs.-A hub carrying a wire wheel is constructed so as to be readily applicable to the existing parts of wooden wheel hubs. The wirewheel hub C is formed with one or more internal annular webs C<2> bored to fit the axle-box B of the wooden-wheel hub, shown in dotted lines. A flange C' on the hub is bolted to the integral flange B<1> of the wooden - wheel hub by short bolts passing through the original bolt holes. Caps E of varying depth are used.
