Abstract

8082. Wallace, W. April 4. Endless-belt conveyers with articles held by grips.-In apparatus for drying pasteboards, show cards, printed sheets, &c. which are gripped between transverse bars a held close together on an endless band, the bars are provided with pieces f of india-rubber or other yielding material. The sheets are introduced and removed at the parts where the belt passes round its carrying-rollers. The ends of the bars between these'rollers move on guides to prevent sagging.
