Abstract
6923. Hartnell, A. March 19. Tread projections and surfaces.- One or more circumferential chains e are arranged in grooves or embedded in tyre treads, so as to be flush therewith, or to project slightly therefrom, and the tyres are vulcanized with the chains in position, so that the rubber adheres to them. When two or more chains are used, they may be connected at intervals by transverse linlis. According to the Provisional Specification, the chains may be loose in the grooves in the tyres.
