Incandescent gas burners; mantle supports.- A reversible incandescent gas burner has a mixing-tube composed of sections c, c<1>, c<2>, Fig. 2, the mantle-holder, Fig. 1, being adapted to hold the mantle in both the upright and inverted positions. The tube sections of which there may be more than three, are secured together by unions &c. e. A gauze h prevents lighting-back. On the burner nozzle i are arranged the usual projections j and a ring l, both of which have claws k and serve to support the prongs on the mantle ring. According to the Provisional Specification, the mixing-tube may be in two parts, one straight, the other bent into a right-angled curve; or both parts may be in the form of right-angled curves.
