Abstract
3083. Chemische Fabrik von Heyden Akt.-Ges. Feb. 10, 1909, [Convention date]. Aryl- and alkyl-oxyacidylsalicylic acids are produced by treating salicylic acid or its salts with halogenides or anhydrides of aryl- or alkyl-oxyfatty acids. The production of phenoxy- and ethoxy-acetylsalicylic acids is described. The products are useful for medicinal purposes. Specification 17,417/95 is referred to. The Specification in the original form, as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a), comprises also the use of any acidylizing-agent capable of introducing the required acidyl groups, and the use of the products as disinfectants. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
