Abstract

2955. Phillips, J. Feb. 7. Brackets, adjusting and securing.-In a gutter holdfast or bracket, the bracket has a hooked portion a to take over the upper edge of a facia board or the like, a depending portion b adapted to bear against the surface of the facia board, or the like, and an horizontal portion d adapted to support the gutter z. To adjust the slope of the gutter, a screw f engages with the member d, and has at its upper end a plate or member g shaped to the gutter. In a modified form of gutter support, the horizontal member d is provided with holes recessed at their upper ends and adapted to receive screws with heads corresponding to the recesses. The outer portion of the bracket may hook over the gutter, and an adjustable lug may be attached to the depending portion b and grip the upper inner edge of the gutter.
