Abstract

2028. Dechaume, M. Jan. 27, 1909, [Convention date]. Bottles, non-refillable.-A float valve 24 is assisted in its movements by the impact of balls 18, 30 on rods 15, 22 respectively. The upper ball 18 is carried in a baffle-case as shown, and bears on a rod 15 free to move in guides 17. The valve is seated at 20, and is guided by contact with the sides 8 of the casing, and by a rod 22 passing freely through an orifice 21. The lower ball 30 is carried in a tube 27, and impinges against the rod 22 and a spring 29 when the bottle is tilted to start the valve off its seat.
