Abstract

665. Steel, L. R. Jan. 10. Bottles, coverings for.-A receptacle for milk comprises a glass or other vessel 13, which is removably secured in a metal casing 1 by means of a screwed ring 11 having flanges 12, 15. The vessel 13 and the casing 1 are closed, respectively, by screwed caps 21, 23. The bottom of the casing 1 is strengthened by rings 6, 7 fastened in place by the rivets that secure the recessed bottom 4. The casing 1 is adapted to be placed in a cage consisting of rings 29, 30 connected together by slats 32, some of which are carried across the ring 29 to form a bottom for the cage. The ring 30 has secured to it handles for carrying the cage.
