Abstract

97. Benstead, A. G., and Aron, E. Jan. 3. Holders.-A central-contact holder is soldered to a flexible cable comprising a core 2, preferably stranded, covered with insulating material a and metallic braiding 1, the braiding forming the return conductor. In the form shown, a bayonetjoint holder is used, which c o m p r i s e s screw-connected outer metal parts 4, 5, 7, 9, to the first of which the metallic braiding 1 of the cable is soldered, containing within insulating parts b, c, a metal sleeve 10, to which is soldered the core 2, and which receives a split pin 11 attached to a centre contact 13. A cap 3 prevents the braiding from becoming unsoldered. Specifications 1704/83, 666/97, and 3753/01 are referred to.
