Abstract

190,948. Schleyer, V. Feb. 23, 1922. Supporting and mounting bear - ings.- In a deepwell centrifugal pump, the intermediate bearings 25 for the shaft 15 are connected by pipes 26 which are screwed on to the bearings. The bearings are provided with lugs 67, resting on the inner ring 62 of a spider 63, the outer ring 64 of which lies between rings 65 screwed on adjacent sections of the water discharge pipe 19 and bolted together. In a modification, the lugs 67 are replaced by a ring screwed on the upper pipe 26 and resting on the ring 62.
