Bag filters.-A filter for milk &c. comprises a textile fabric such as flannel, muslin, or silk supported within a casing a on a wire frame having a domeshaped portion b and uprights b<1>, the uprights being bent at the upper end so that the frame rests on projections c. The lower portion of the frame is formed as an imperforate channel e, and impurities collect at this point. Hoops f, g connected by rods h hold the medium in position inside and outside of the casing respectively. The ends of the hoop g are drawn together by means of a swivelling bolt and wing-nut.
