Abstract

Moving - chamber apparatus for granular materials; varying quantity measured.-At the base of a hopper 1 a cylindrical casing is formed, within which one or more measuring-compartments can be rotated around a shaft 4. The compartments 1 may be formed by angle-irons 3 attached to the shaft 4, and blocks 2 which may be adjusted by screws 9 to vary the capacity of the measure. The filled compartments pass under a diaphragm 8 and over a discharge opening 6 leading to a shoot 7. The spaces between the plates 3 of adjacent compartments are covered in.
