Abstract
25,259. Burton, E. Nov. 2. Insulators for telegraph, telephone, and like lines are constructed in two sections 9, 10, which are of glass or other insulating-material, and have grooves which, when the s e c t i o n s are placed together, form a passage 13 for the reception of the conductor. The halves are held together, and are supported by a single strip 7, which is bent, as shown, to form a foot 6 and upright parallel arms 11. The outside of the two sections is channelled as indicated to receive the strip, and the whole is held together by a bolt 14 passing through projecting parts 8 of the arms 11.
