Abstract
24,583. Willis, B. D. Oct. 28, 1908, [Convention date]. Receivers are constructed with no permanent magnet, the battery current being sent direct through the coils of the diaphragm electro-magnet. The electro-magnet has a central core e and a cup-shaped part e<1>, which may be slit longitudinally. The winding terminals f<5> connect by the posts f<4> f<7> through the insulation F. The electro-magnet core and cup may otherwise be split into halves, and the cup may be carried from a brass standar( connected to the bearing for the diaphragm.
