Abstract

24,573. Bunn, C. W. Oct. 26. Latches, sliding. - A fastening for locking the cantrails of landaulets to the fixed front pillars, and for other purposes, comprises a plate B secured to the cantrail 3 and having a lug 5 with conical stud 6 and a spring latch 12 adapted to engage respectively with recesses 7, 29 in a plate A on the front pillar 11. The latch 12 is curved at its underside so that it may be pressed back when it meets the top of the plate A. It is disengaged from the recess 29 by a lever 21 and follower 18.
