Saws, sharpening.-A rest and gauging-device for saw-sharpening machines of the type adapted to hold circular and frame or longitudinal saws consists of an L-shaped screwed rod 10 acting as a pawl, the rod being capable of being turned in a rocking block 9, so that it can be brought into position either to engage circular saws on one side or frame and like saws on the other side. The block 9 is adjustably carried by a bracket 1 on the standard 2. The rod is fixed in position to the block 9 by nuts 11, 12. The bracket 1 has a slot 5 for adjustment.
