Abstract

Squares.-Relates to T-squares of the type in which the head is provided with rollers, spring- pressed or otherwise, by which it is worked along a guide provided by the drawing-board. The invention consists in providing a guidebar g fixed to the board a by brackets b. Rollers r<1>, r<4>, secured to the head of the T- square, work on either side of the bar. The rollers may be mounted on springs, and, to facilitate setting of the T-square, the blade s, Fig. 6, may be pivoted between gudgeons o working in a bridge - piece p<1>. In a further modification, the grip of the rollers on the bar is adjusted by mounting the rollers r<1>, r<2> on eccentrics e<1>, e<2> connected by right and left handed screws f. The weight of the blade may be counterbalanced by a weight p connected to a cord passing over the pulley c.
