Tyre attachments to rims.-To impart lateral stability to a tyre and to secure it to a wheel rim, one or more endless chains A are embedded, preferably at just the height of the rim flanges. The chains are flexible radially and rigid laterally. Fig. 6 shows a construction of chain in which the links M are joined up by passing the thin shoulder parts edgeways through the slots Q.
