19,512. Mendess, R. Aug. 25. Food preparations in the form of dry mixtures which require the addition of water only in making cakes, puddings, &c. comprise fat and dried milk, and other materials such as flour, eggs, sugar, colouring-matter, preservative, carbonate of soda, cream of tartar, &c. According to the Provisional Specification, the fat may be heated and pressed, and some of the liquid portion thereof, the yolk or white of egg, or dried eggs, or egg or vegetable albumen, crushed nuts, and magnesium carbonate, may be added; and the preparation may be in the form of a paste.
