Junction-pieces. - Cylindrical or other vessels for storing fluid under pressure are provided with a common outlet union and retained in a rigid position by a single fastening. Figs. 2 and 3 show a pair of cylinders mounted on the usual plate a through which the holts b<1> pass. An upright c mounted on the plate between the cylinders has an internally-threaded boss c<1> and an upwardly-extending pin c<2>. A yoke d passes over the cylinder cocks e and the pin c<2>. The cylinder outlets are united by a chamber f with nipples f<1> entering the outlets g, and with an outlet pipe f<2> leading where required. Washers are provided between the nipples f<1> and outlets g. A bolt i with a handle passes through a boss h in the chamber f and is screwed into the boss c' in the upright c. Three or more cylinders may be united by extending the yoke-plate and chamber f and using extra bolts. In the form shown in Fig. 6. no yoke-plate is used and the chamber f is pivoted to one arm of a bell-crank lever k, the fulcrum being mounted on the base-plate a. The opposite arm carries a bolt m which passes through the base-plate and is secured by a nut holding the parts tightly together.
