Platen machines; inking-apparatus.-In a platen press, more particularly of the type having several simultaneously-operated dies b<1> and travelling rollers f for inking them, one or more ductors p with ductor rolls l are slidably mounted on a transverse bar m so that they can be displaced laterally for cleaning on removal, the bar m projecting sufficiently far beyond the machine for that purpose. The bar m is also adjustable by nuts n<1> to regulate the pressure between the rollers f, l. Automatic web or card feeds of known type are shown applied to the machine.
