Abstract

15,005. Fraser, J. Dec. 16. Fluid-actuated gears; slide valves.-Consists of improvements on the type of valve described in Specifications 932/74, 21,698/92, [Class 86, Mining &c.], and 95/99. The valve D is solid with the ports cut through it, is guided by eccentric pins D<2>, D', and is actuated by fluid which passes from the cylinder through exterior passages E, F to the ends of the valve chamber, and exhausts through ports R, Q uncovered by the valve. The main exhaust J is exterior to the valve, and is arranged between the inlet ports I, K.
