Lids and covers. -A box of cardboard &c. for holding incandescent gas mantles comprises a body A formed without projections on the inside of the upper edges, and a lid a hingedly connected to the rear side of the body and provided with a tuck-in flap a<3>. The lid is supported by a bridge-piece B of cardboard &c. having at its edges depending portions b<1>, which lie against the upper edges of the box sides.
