Sodium sulphite ; zinc hyposulphite.-A salt of the formula 2 ZnS2O4,Na2 SO3, which is very stable and sparingly soluble in water, is produced by adding to a solution of zinc hyposulphite eitber solid or dissolved sodium bisulphite, and heating gently.
