Abstract

[Addition to 214/09.] Helico-centrifugal fans and pumps; worm fans and pumps; casings.-In pumps and fans of the type described in the parent Specification, the passage-way is made truly cylindrical at the point where the impeller merges into the attached rotating receiving chamber, in order to reduce friction losses. In the modification in which a stationary receiving chamber is employed, fixed guide-blades are arranged in the chamber.
