Burners, regulating and controlling.-In a burner of the type in which the gas inlet to the burner, and the emission orifices, are simultaneously controlled, a sleeve sliding longitudinally on the gas pipe and burner is provided to regulate the consumption of a mixture of air and gas. The sleeve 5 slides over the openings 3 in the burner head and the openings 4 in the supply pipe 1, being connected by a pin 8 to an actuating-lever pivoted to a bracket on the burner. The sleeve is preferably provided with a seat 14 adapted to seat against the bevelled part of the piece 16.
