Seals; envelopes.-Relates to safety envelopes of the kind comprising a body part 30, side flaps 7, and end flaps 9 and in which the side and end flaps are secured by a two-part seal passed through perforations 17, 27. Fig. 5 is a section of the envelope ready for sealing. For additional security, the side flaps 7 are provided with interlocking extensions 12 perforated at 28 to register with the perforations 27. The female seal-member 22 consists of a plate bent in the middle to form two parallel arms 23, 24, the arm 23 being perforated at 26, and the arm 24 having a depression 25 to flare out the slit end of the male seal-member 18.
