11,746. Lufft, G. May 18. Barometers.-In order to avoid warping of the dials of an aneroid barometer, two rotatable dials c, d are employed to provide for adjustment to the normal pressure of the place at which the barometer is used; the upper dial c, or if desired each dial, is made of light, non- brittle, transparent material such as celluloid, gelatine foil, or the like. If the barometer is used in a place where it is unnecessary to adjust it to the normal pressure, only one dial need be used; this dial is made of celluloid or like material and carries both the figures indicating barometric pressure and the weather indications.
