Cutting and slicing vegetables &c. - A machine for slicing fruit, vegetables, &c. c o mprises a plate D carrying a knife E having a cutting - edge of spiral form, a feed-hopper K provided with a rammer L, and a guard C. The plate is rotated by a handle F, and is pressed towards the hopper by a spring H. The thickness of the slice is altered by adjusting the distance between the plate and the knife, or by using knives of different thicknesses.
