Abstract

6109. Arnold, H. J. March 15. Mattresses.-In connexion with a bedstead having side rails jointed at the centre, the heads of the tension screws, studs, or hooks on the mattress are passed through key hole slots 32 in lugs 31 on the chills 15 and are raised to engage the narrow parts 34. The side rails of the bedstead are then straightened so as to effect the final tensioning of the mattress.
