Abstract

5103. Justice, P. M., [Hamburger, S.]. March 2. Pessaries; syringes and the like.-A pessary comprising a cup a and tubular rim c is provided with a tube b attached to the cup or to the rim and adapted to be connected to an irrigator so that water or other liquid may be injected. The tube b may be allowed to hang down after use or may be looped round the pessary and clipped in place. In a modification the hose is attached to the tubular rim by means of an extensible spring, so that it is drawn within the rim when not in use.
