Bleaching, materials for.-A bleaching-agent, especially suited for bleaching leather, feathers, straw, glue, &c., is made by mixing solid anhydrous sodium hyposulphite with zinc dust, for example, in the proportion of one hundred parts of ninety-per-cent sodium hyposulphite to ten parts of zinc dust.
