679. Taylor, G. E. Jan. 11. Pails.-In a milking-pail having a funnel depending into the interior and not projecting above the mouth, the funnel is secured by curling the rim so that it seats tightly on the edge of the pail, being further secured, if desired, by a clip e, Fig. 5. The edge of the pail may also be curled. In a modification, the funnel is retained by a deep flange f, Fig. 3, reaching to the bottom of the pail. In either case, a gauze or other strainer g may be employed.
