Abstract
400. Williams, A. J. B. Jan. 7. Drinking-vessels.-Apparatus for administering liquid food or medicine comprises a container a having an upwardly-extending spoonshaped extension c, which may be graduated so that it serves for measuring the liquid, which is then tilted back into the body of the container and afterwards administered by means of the extension to the patient. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the container a is provided with an inner graduated vessel e, from which, on tilting backwards, a dose is poured into the outer vessel through a notch or spout h. In this modification, the extension c may be replaced by a spout. In a further modification, the vessels a, e may be so formed that the contents of the inner vessel escape into the outer one when the vessels are tilted sideways.
