Tyres, pneumatic.- Interchangeable pneumatic tyres which are carried inflated without a supporting-rim are secured to the wheel by means of flexible rings B, which are provided with beaded edges held by felloe-rings A<2> and carry rigid floating rings C, C', between which the tyre is clamped. To assist in keeping the tyre tightly in position, its cross-section may be elliptical, so that it tends to extend laterally. An inner air-tube and a metal ring E may be used, and preferably the tyre is formed with edges D<3> clamped between rings D' by transverse bolts, but a siogle-tube tyre may be used.
