Abstract
3475. Bowne, J. D. Feb. 27, 1907, [date applied for under Section 91 of Patents &c. Act, 1907]. Chairs; sleepers.-Trougb sleepers adapted to be filled with ballast have inclined sides B and flanges C recessed near each end to take a chair. The chair has inclined sides G to fit the sleeper and has lugs H pressed out to fit recesses D in the flanges C ; it is further provided with lugs J to receive the rail and a pendent end O with a seat P for a slab N, to which the chair is secured by bolts L, M, the bolt L also securing a clamping-piece K.
