3066. Wolhaupter, B. Feb. 11. Rail joints.- Angle fish - plates formed with a pendent girder arranged to bear on the ties are provided also with a reinforcing rib. The girder 9, Fig. 4, preferably inclined inwards and having a reinforcing-rib 11 is bent up to form an extension 10, Fig. 1, with a rib 12 bearing on the joint ties. The rib 12 may be bent at the centre in line with the girder 9 to form the flange 9<a>, Fig. 7. The girder 9 and extension 10 may be rolled in the plane of the girder 9 or of the extension 10, or in an intermediate plane, being afterwards bent to their final positions.
