Seats and seat backs, arrangement of.-To the back d of the seat a of a baby carriage, mail-cart, &c. is hinged a folding portion b, c, which may be either disposed so as to form a continuation of the back d when the seat a is in use as such, or open out as shown with the part b resting on ledges to form a seat facing to the rear. In the latter case, the body of the carriage may be occupied by a child in a recumbent position.
