Felloes or rims.-Relates to detachable flanges for rims of the tyre described in the Specification No. 4233, A.D. 1907, in which the tongues are made rigid, and are secured in position by spring- controlled bolts passing through them. The tongues c have widened ends c<1> fixed to the detachable flange b, and fit into metal-lined recesses d cut in the felloe. The liners also have widened ends d<1>. Grooves h to carry off water, are cut in the liners, and also in a metal band f, which has a bevelled surface, and is secured to the felloe. A zinc band to protect the air-tube fits inside the rim.
