Felloes or rims.- The rim 2, Fig. 3, having an ordinary fixed or removable flange 5 at one edge, is formed at the opposite edge with an inturned flange 4 to receive a broken locking-ring 7 by which the detachable flange 6 is secured in position. In a modification, shown at Fig. 7, the locking-member 7 is extended to form a tyre-retaining flange 6. Fig. 2 shows the locking-ring in its contracted position, the ends being drawn together by means of a suitable tool 12 and locked by a screw passed through an extension 13.
