Incandescent gas burners.-The secondary internal air supply is fed to an upright or bent inverted burner between concentric tapering tubes a, b, Fig. 2, cast or soldered together, the channels between the tubes decreasing in area towards the top. The inner tube is screwed to the ordinary mixing - chamber, and the outer tube, formed with perforations, may enclose the mixing- chamber. The burner mouth may be shaped as shown in cross-section in Figs 7, 8, and 9.
