Abstract
24,379. Schmitz, J. Nov. 9, 1906, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Work-holders.-The claw B is pivoted to the part A, and has a cavity to receive the nut D. When the spindle U having a right and left handed thread is turned, the nut D is moved forward, and the projections a, a' on it press the claw B forward against the work. A hook E pivoted on the nut D prevents the claw B from falling down. The parts A of one or more clamps are secured to the work or machine table &c.
