Turn-buttons; locks, key.-Relates to fastenings for stable doors or the like of the type in which a pivoted bar has an attachment staple secured by a padlock, or carries a locking with a sliding bolt. The door e is fastened by a bar d, pivoted to a plate b on the jamb and carrying an eye f, which is secured by a padlock to an eye i on a plate h attached to the door. Some of the attaching-screws g of the plate b may be covered by the fastened bard. A loop j<1> for holding the door back may be provided. The padlock j and loop f maybe replaced by an ordinary lock on the end of the bar d having a bolt which shoots into the eye i. Otherwise, the bar d may be pivoted to the door and enter a socket on the jamb open at the top.
