A rubber ring d is fitted and is free to roll between two flanges on the piston to make it air-tight, and another ring c is similarly fitted on the smallest diameter of the piston. A spring g retracts the bolt. The cylinder is connected to an air-pump through a hole i. The piston may be operated by air pressure.
