Abstract

20,301. Detsinyl, G. Sept. 11. Incandescent gas burners.-The burner head, shaped like a prism, cylinder, hemisphere, ellipsoid, inverted pyramid, or preferably an inverted cone, is formed of superimposed non- conducting corrugated or flat plates a, notched or grooved, or separated by notched or grooved refractory distance-pieces b, so that the gaseous mixture can pass laterally from a central .passage d or passages in the burner head to the outside. Additional plates may be arranged on the burner head to increase the storage and radiation of heat.
