Relates to boxes or tins such as are employed for tobacco &c., in which a loose outer lid is used in conjunction with an inner closure of tagger -tin. The loose lids b are secured against accidental displacement by a strip d of fabric or other flexible material secured to the box-body by the label or wrapper. The strip passes round the can, and is secured at the top by a stud-and-socket fastening e. A label or wrapper may be placed over the ends of the band to prevent unauthorized removal of the lid.
